Imitation Legionary command for use with Pontic armies, supplied with 3 x Roman Scutum (AVS12), 1 x Hoplon shield.
Adam's thoughts on Imitation Legionaries:
"Since originally researching these some years ago I've come to the conclusion that Imitation Legionaries would not necessarily resemble Roman Legionaries to any great degree. Of the possible States to list them in wargames rules the most likely to resemble actual Romans would possibly be Pontic armies. They alone MAY have used the Scutum and may have used something like the Roman sword of the time. The rest would have used troops previously branded as Peltasts. Indeed they seem to have been used in a similar fashion but were now wearing Successor style mail and using the Thureos shield.
But remember this is only my opinion in a much disputed area so feel free to order any helmet pack and any shields you choose."
