ST01 Steppe Noble Command

ST01 has the usual 3 figures, an officer, a standard bearer and a musician. They are suitable for a load of different Steppe types or as Eastern Sassanids. They are sold as just the riders to allow a choice of horses, we have shown them on H14 fully armoured but you could use any of the of the following H10-H11, SASSH7 and 8, SASSH3-6. The Khazars in particular allied themselves with Sassanians and Byzantines and were a powerful people in their own right. The Gok Turks are recorded as using horse armour by the Chinese and the other tribes may well have used iron or leather armour also.. "
