The Forum - Ref: R145 - Based on the Basilica and Forum at Caerwent in Wales.
Forums were large open spaces - square or rectangular - usually surrounded on three sides by a covered walkway containing shops and offices. On the fourth side would be the Basilica, a civic building. The basilica and forum at Caerwent was typical in its design, although it was one of the smallest in Roman Britain.
In scale 1:1200, the model covers an area of approx 100mm x 46mm.
